I don't think they look much alike, but that wasn't my goal anyway.I really love the small hat and scarf that can be taken off, which Elise loves to do. So a little hint: make sure the ears are sewn on really tightly, otherwise they might come off with the hat :)
I also found out, that it's much easier to sew the hand and feet on, when they are still unfinished and hollow. With such projects as this one, it's also practical to use both ends of your yarn, if you don't have two skeins. For example, I still had not finished the green part of the body when I started making hands and feet.
And my newest discovery? Working in the inside loop of a half-double-crochet makes a nice illusion of a sleeve :)
